High Risk Perinatal Services

High Risk Perinatal Services at Primary Care and Northridge are provided by a team of highly skilled physicians, nurses, nutritionists and social workers who offer care to women with a pregnancy complicated by diabetes, high blood pressure, premature labor, or any other medical or surgical illness. State-of-the-art ultrasound and antepartum testing services are readily available as needed.

Other High Risk Perinatal Services include the Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Center located on the 8th floor of the Universit of Virginia Health System. This center offers prenatal testing such as early amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, detailed ultrasound and fetal therapy.
