Web Software Developer
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented team player who can help take our web products and services to the next level. This individual will be a member of the Web Development Center (WDC) team, a creative group of Web designers and software developers serving the entire Health System. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and managing the WDC's web hosting services including management of the Health System's web content management system.
- Managing projects from inception to launch.
- Supporting over 400 departmental web managers located throughout the Health System.
- Developing and managing web applications supporting clinical, research, and educational initiatives.
The successful applicant will have considerable web application development experience including 5+ years of ColdFusion and HTML programming. We are looking for a senior-level developer with hands-on knowledge of secure programming and web application development best practices. The candidate will have a strong working knowledge of SQL Server, structured query language (SQL) and database design, and Apache web server administration. Experience with application stress testing tools and Windows Server performance troubleshooting is strongly desired in order to maintain site performance and to make infrastructure recommendations based on anticipated traffic.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service are essential and required.
