Volunteers

Each year community volunteers provide support for the annual UVA Children's Hospital Service of Remembrance by assisting with various tasks, such as:

butterflyWelcoming and registering guests
butterflyDirecting event traffic and parking
butterflyArranging and serving refreshments
butterflyPreparing and distributing flowers to guests
butterflyAssisting staff with supervision of children, ages infant - 11 yearsbutterflyArranging memory tables and directing families to place memorabilia
butterflyEscorting families and guests to the auditorium
butterflyAssisting with stage decorations and the Tree of Life
butterflyAssisting with overall event set up and clean up

Volunteers typically arrive by 12:30 PM and conclude by 4:00 PM. This event would not be possible without the help and compassion of the volunteers.
