Surgical Technologist Program
Through a unique partnership with Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) the Martha Jefferson Hospital, the University of Virginia Health System, the UVA Outpatient Surgery Center, and Rockingham Memorial Hospital, PVCC offers a one-year certificate program in surgical technology. This program provides PVCC students with the education and training needed to perform selected activities in the operating room as a member of the surgical team. This certificate curriculum is designed to provide graduates the opportunity to become nationally certified as a surgical technologist.
