July 2005 - UVAMRC receives Funding Award from Wal-Mart
Pictured above are UVAMRC student leaders Landon Smith and Brian Kipe accepting a check for $1000.00 from Wal-Mart in July of 2005. This donation will help the UVAMRC in funding a community-outreach project, which will be focused on educating local children and their families on disaster preparedness.
