MMI Program The program format will include lectures, small group sessions, roundtable discussions and informal conversations exploring the impact of GI disease on society, the role of GI research in shaping healthcare and opportunities for careers in this exciting field. We will discuss the application of various technological approaches in the context of diseases familiar to those outside the field of GI research, including bioterrorism and the food supply, the role of inflammation in cancer, as well as inflammation and food allergies.
