Health Insurance Plans 

The UVa Health System participates in most health insurance plans and managed care programs licensed within the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition we have the ability to develop individual arrangements with payers, employers, and individuals.  We continue to provide a comprehensive range of patient care services, which has made us a major patient care provider in regionnally and nationally. The UVA Health System will endeavor to work with your insurance company and you to try and meet your health care needs.

Please call the Transplant Center at (800) 543-8814, and ask for the Financial Coordinator, so we may assist you or your insurance plan in meeting your health care needs.
