The Tissue Culture Facility loads 200 µl bevelled pipette tips (USA Scientific, Sarstedt) into customer returned empty racks using a Bellco Tipster. This loading system avoids contamination from hand loading and reuses pipette tip boxes which are otherwise discarded. The tips are autoclaved. The cost is $2.10 for a box of 96, which is available off the shelf.
