Community Resources: (Charlottesville)
- Boys and Girls Club - Provides programs geared toward enhancing the character, self esteem, and development of youth. Has special concerns for youth from disadvantaged circumstances.
- Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministry - Offers Christ-centered programs that address the spiritual, education, and economic needs of members. Promotes family togetherness and parental involvement.
- Charlottesville/Albemarle Commission on Children and Families - Works to improve outcomes for children and their families. Several sub-committees directly address teen pregnancy and family abuse.
- Children, Youth & Family Services - Has a mission of promoting the development of children in central Virginia. Offers parenting classes, including one for parents of teens, and counseling services for special teen populations.
- MACAA - Monticello Area Community Action Agency; works to eradicate poverty and improve the lives of people living in the community. Has 11 core programs, including Family Support and Development, Head Start, Hope House, and Wheels to Work.
- Music Resource Center - Educates and inspires urban youth through music, and equips them with life skills for the future.
- Out Youth of the Blue Ridge - Provides services for Central Virginia's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning Youth.
- Planned Parenthood - Offers reproductive health care and sexual health information so men and women can make thoughtful and responsible choices regarding sexuality. Some of its programs include education and training services, medical services, and public advocacy activities.
- Region Ten - Provides mental health, mental retardation, and substance addiction services to the city of Charlottesville and the surrounding counties.
- Teensight - addresses pregnancy prevention, teenage pregnancy, support, and job training for men and women under the age of 22 in the area.

- Advocates for Youth - Rights.Respect.Responsibility.® - Works in the United States and developing countries with a sole focus on adolescent reproductive and sexual health.
- CDC : National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion: Adolescent and School Health - Works to prevent the most serious health risk behaviors among children, adolescents, and young adults.
- National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (NCPTP) - Has a mission to improve the well-being of children, youth, and families by reducing teen pregnancy.
- Healthy Teen Network - National membership organization of practitioners, policy makers, and state and local coalitions concerned with adolescent pregnancy, parenting, and prevention that provides information and education to inform about practice and policy
- TeensHealth - A website with information for teens about their general health.
- The Center for Young Women's Health at the Children's Hospital Boston - Has information for female teens ranging from nutrition, sexuality and sexual decisions, general health and development, and emotional health.
