Mission Statement
To advance the health and well-being of adolescents with attention to those who care for and about them. We accomplish this through personalized primary care, community education and advocacy, and academic research and training.
The folks who work at the U.Va. Teen Health Center love adolescents. If you love adolescents, you cannot help but act as an advocate for them. This advocacy and education occurs in and outside of the office. Outreach and education happens at school, church, in PTO meetings, and in collaboration with other community agencies.
