Zona L. Chalifoux, R.N., MS, PhD
Clinical Research Coordinator
Zona is a recent addition to the STAC team. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing degree from McGill University, a Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida and a Doctorate from the University of Virginia. Zona has extensive clinical, research and teaching experience gained in Virginia, California, Florida and Canada. Most recently, she was Patient Care Coordinator in Orthopedics at the University of Virginia and on the nursing faculty of James Madison University. Zona has recognized expertise in care/case management and has been awarded over $150,000 in grant funding to study patient outcomes across the continuum of health care. She is the first or co-author of eleven publications.
