Kimberly Gahring, R.N., B.S.N.
Clinical Research Coordinator
Kim received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1993. After spending a few years as a traveling nurse, Kimberly began working at the UVA Health System as a staff nurse in the Surgical Trauma ICU in September of 2001. Kimberly has prior clinical trials experience working as a coordinator for the UVA Cancer Center in the Clinical Trials Office where her primary focus was in lung cancer research.
In October of 2008 Kimberly joined the STAC team as a clinical research coordinator. Currently she is involved with trials in cardiac surgery and is involved in the direct recruitment, enrollment, and management of subjects, data collection and maintenance of clinical trials.
