Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program Group Updates
Graduate Groups are listed in the order (primary, secondary, tertiary) as selected by the faculty member following approval by the Graduate Group Director .
|
- How do I change my graduate group affiliation?
Please email the director of the group that you wish to join and seek permission to join their graduate group. Group directors are to inform
bims-web@virginia.edu of changes.
|
Most Graduate Groups have assigned faculty to specific areas of interest. For changes, please email the director of the parent group and have them inform bims-web@virginia.edu

Multiple (3-5 recommended) Paragraph Research Description Updates
Note that: |
- A search engine will be added with the capability of searching all text in this field.
- Your participation in multiple graduate groups/centers/training grants/institutes will likely result in multiple WWW pages all populated from the same information.
|
We recommend:
|
- Send your text within the body of an email message to
bims-web@virginia.edu (no attachments, please)
- List the name of the graduate group/center/training grant/institute for which you are writing a paragraph.
- Press Enter for a carriage return.
- Type the paragraph customized to the organization.
- Double space.
- Repeat for next graduate group/center/training grant/institute
|
|
Using this format, the use of a graduate group/center/training grant/institute name will yield faculty member page "hits" by a search engine just as any other key word will do. We encourage you to use key words particular to your research. View Example
