Research Description

My current research involves evaluation and improvement of techniques for sequencing DNA on lambda and BAC templates as part of programs of genome analysis. They are employed to elucidate genome information. My other interest is to study the bioinformatics for global genome analysis as applied to DNA microarrays. Again, several algorithms that already exist need to be evaluated to determine their applicability in a core facility setting as ours, and then adapt them for optimal use in search and data mining mechanisms.
