Research Description Dr. Christiana M. Brenin received her B.S. from McGill University and then attained her M.D. from New York Medical College. She completed her training in Internal Medicine and subsequently her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She joined the clinical faculty at UVA in 2002, primarily as a medical oncologist seeing patients with breast and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Brenin has been the Medical Director of the Infusion Center since 2005, and assumed the leadership role for the Hematology/Oncology fellowship training program in 2008. Her research interest rests primarily with breast cancer, participating in the establishment of clinical trials for early stage and metastatic breast cancer in selected patient populations.
