Course Objectives
Learn the methodology of small animal imaging that researchers use to study biological processes noninvasively and how this aids in the understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment of human disease.
Participate in the hands-on demonstrations of in vivo small animal imaging using state of the art small animal imaging equipment at the University of Virginia Molecular Imaging Core Laboratory.
Accreditation

Registration Fees:
Full course: $300 (admission to Day 1 lectures and Day 2 demos. Includes breakfast both days and lunch Day 1)
($200 for students and fellows)
Day 1 Lectures only: $200 (breakfast and lunch Day 1)
($150 for students and fellows)
Evening reception at the Colonnade Club - $50
Due to space limitations, Day 2 demonstrations will be limited to 50 people.
Refunds will be provided minus a $75 administration fee up to Sept. 30, 2008. After that no refunds will be provided.
Posters:
We invite submissions of posters. These can be presented at other meetings that demonstrate the utility of small animal imaging. Submit your poster to imaging-workshop@virginia.edu. Accepted posters will receive a $50 discount to the meeting.
