Brain MR Imaging/Spectroscopy - Current Projects

Development of spine echo-based, single-slab techniques for producing three dimensional magnetic resonance images of the human brain.

The ultimate goal of our research is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis and other diseases of the central nervous system. We hope these true 3D volume acquisition techniques will allow researchers to more effectively detect and quantify the extent of brain lesions and focal abnormalities.
