Research Interests:

Our research group specializes at molecular imaging. Non-invasive molecular imaging is a growing research discipline aimed at development of novel tools, reagents, and methods to study in vivo biologic processes at the cellular and molecular level.
We focus on developing and testing novel imaging reagents of both modalities of near infrared (NIR) optical and nuclear imaging.

Current Projects:

(i). Development of NIR fluorochromes labeled biological molecules targeting tumor and apoptotic tissues.

(ii). Synthesis of radiolabeled reporter substrates for noninvasive measurement of gene expression in animals and patients.
