Instructor Excellence Award
Dr. Juan Olazagasti, a thoraco-abdominal radiologist and Chair of the Radiology Education Committee, was recently nominated and chosen for the School of Medicine award for excellence in teaching. The main criterion for selection of this prestigious award is excellence in teaching medical students. Characteristics which may exemplify such excellence include being an outstanding lecturer, outpatient clinic instructor, student advisor, course director, clinical coordinator, student advocate, director of student research or excellence in other leadership roles. The department is thrilled that the institution acknowledged Dr. Olazagasti’s accomplishments and is honored to have him on its staff.
