Musculoskeletal Fellowship: Location and Equipment The University of Virginia (UVA) Health System is a 690-bed tertiary care facility and level one trauma center built in 1988 and located in the scenic piedmont of Virginia. The imaging facilites at UVA are excellent with 5 CT scanners, one mid-field magnet (0.7T) scanner, and 3 high field strength clinical MRI machines.
