Tobacco Cessation Guidelines from the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) provide helpful tips on smoking cessation for patients.

Does UVa provide heart failure patients with information on smoking cessation prior to discharge?

Yes. At UVa, all heart failure patients who smoke are given the opportunity at discharge to receive information, helpful tips, resources and literature on smoking cessation.
