A Phase II, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Flexible-Dose Study to Assess the Safety, Tolerability and Efficacy of RG2417 (Uridine) in the Treatment of Bipolar I Depression.
Volunteers 18-65 are needed for a study on bipolar I depression. Dr. Anita Clayton with the UVA Health System Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research is conducting a research study of an investigational drug for symptoms of bipolar I depression. You may qualify if you are between the ages of 18 65, have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and are currently experiencing depressive symptoms.
If you qualify and are enrolled, you will receive investigational drug or placebo (an inactive substance) and medical evaluations related to the study at no cost to you. There are 11 clinic visits over 3-4 months. Compensation is up to $330.
