- Clinical psychiatrist to provide clinical care as an attending psychiatrist on inpatient psychiatric services, consult liaison, or outpatient clinic services, teach and supervise medical students and residents assigned to the service, provide on call services as assigned, and participate in administrative or committee activities as assigned. The applicants are required to have an M.D. degree in psychiatry, BPN board certification in adult and geriatric psychiatry, and a valid license to practice in the state of Virginia. Experience in treating patients with alcohol and drug addictions is preferred. An interest in the blend of clinical practice and research is preferred. Faculty appointment as an Assistant/Associate Professor will be commensurate upon training and experience. - Computer Programmer Research Specialist will design and develop computer programs for data collection, data management, and subject communication using MS Access, MS SQL Server. This position will serve as a supervisor to 2 Research Data Specialist and a few temporary employees and will be responsible for ensuring data quality and provide training to staff in the use of database tools and software. - Nurse Practitioner will work in a center of Addiction, Research and Education in Richmond. Essential duties will include: perform medical histories, physical examinations, lab and ECG evaluation of participants in medication research trials; monitor in-study patients for medication side effects and health-related problems; educate study participants and staff on health-related issues; provide clinical direction for unlicensed staff; collaborate with multidisciplinary team. Prior nursing experience and the completion of an approved training program for Nurse Practitioners are required.
