The University of Virginia's Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinics specialize in multidisciplinary diagnostic services and treatment aimed at improving a patient's level of functioning in the community and at helping families learn to work together effectively. Our staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social worker, and clinical nurse specialist provides treatment for psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and personality disorders, depression, and sexual dysfunction. The clinic at Northridge has a geriatric clinic that treats individuals with dementia related problems, including Alzheimer's disease.

Appropriate treatment includes medication management or medications and therapy. Individual or group therapy is offered.

Locations: patients are seen at Northridge , Suite 210 at 2955 Ivy Road. One psychiatrist sees new patients at our office at Forest Lakes.

Referrals: individuals and health care providers may call (434) 243-4646 to schedule an appointment. The clinic is open Monday through Friday. Parking is available adjacent to the building.
