We would like to announce a new fellowship offering at the University of Virginia.  The Division of Pediatric Critical Care has had an approved fellowship training program for more than 10 years but now, in conjunctionwith the Department of Health Evaluation Sciences, we are offering a combined (4 year) fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care and Health Evaluation Sciences.  Upon successful completion of the training program the individual would be Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care as well as receive a Masters Degree in Health Evaluation from the University of Virginia.

The intent of this new program is to train clinical investigators in Pediatric Critical Care.  The program offers a variety of courses inEpidemiology, Statistics, Health Services Research, and Informatics and should prepare the Pediatric Intensivist for a career in clinical research and/or health services research and delivery.  The Division of Health Evaluation Sciences has a distinguished faculty of over 40 members, including Bill Knaus and Al Conners.
