Bernheim Appointed to CDC Ethics Panel
Ruth Gaare Bernheim, JD, MPH, Director of the department’s Division of Public Health Policy & Practice, was recently appointed to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Ethics Subcommittee that provides counsel to the CDC on a broad range of public health ethics questions. It is made up of 11 members from across the country and includes well-known philosophers, public health professionals, physicians, and medical ethicists
