Residency Purpose Statement  

Pharmacists completing this program will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to obtain entry-level positions in drug information/medication use policy in hospitals, health systems, academia, industry, managed care, and medical writing.  They are experts in analysis of medication-related information, possess superior communication skills, and are proficient in educating other health care professionals and health care professionals in training.  They are prepared to serve as organization leaders in development of safe and effective medication use policies and/or processes.
