Drug Information Practice Residency: Rotations

Rotations will be tailored to previous experience and interests of the resident. The majority of the residency rotations will be completed in the Drug Information Center , including intensive training in all aspects of drug information including literature retrieval and evaluation, formulary management/ Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee support, policy/ procedure development, newsletter publication, medication use evaluation (MUE), and adverse drug reaction reporting (ADR) program management.  The resident will also be involved in the experiential education of pharmacy practice residents and Doctor of Pharmacy students. Other required rotations include administration, investigational drugs, and poison control. The resident will be allowed up to 8 weeks of elective rotations that may include pharmaceutical industry, medical writing, and various clinical specialties. (See below.)
