Pharmacy Systems Operations
The Rx Systems Operations group is currently headed by Mark Chabot R.Ph. MHA. MBA. and is responsible for the maintaince and operation of all of the department's automated equipment. In addition, the Operations team is responsible for the coding and validation of the Medical Information System (MIS), maintaining and administrating several servers and databases and must have a general knowledge of both the Inpatient and Outpatient ROBOTS.
As front line service agents for the department, Medical Center and University as a whole the members of the group must posses a special blend of abilities ranging from technical assistance and customer service to health care knowledge. The group is comprised of three members (the Automation Supervisor and two Operations Technicians). These highly skilled professionals provide top quality service, not only to the Pharmacy Services Department, but also to staff, management and administrators throughout the Medical Center and its satellites.
