BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF PHARMACY PRACTICE RESIDENTS
Nathan Powell, Pharm.D.
Dr. Powell is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy, where he earned his Pharm.D. degree in 2008. He is also a graduate of James Madison University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry in 2004. He completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the University of Virginia Health System in June of 2009. His current areas of interest are critical care, infectious diseases, and cardiology. Upon completion of his PGY2 Critical Care Residency, he plans to pursue a Clinical Specialist position in critical care.
Brenda Belden Clark, Pharm.D.
Dr. Clark is a graduate of Purdue University School of Pharmacy where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2008. She is also a graduate of Hanover College where she earned a BA degree in Chemistry in 2004. She completed her PGY1 residency at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN June 2008 and is currently completing a specialized residency in critical care at the University of Virginia Health System. Her current interests include critical care and cardiology. Upon completion of her critical care residency, she plans to pursue a position as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at an academic medical center.
