BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF PHARMACY PRACTICE RESIDENTS
Trisha Nguyen Branan, Pharm.D.
Dr. Branan is a graduate from the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2006. She then went on to complete her pharmacy practice residency at the Medical College of Georgia/University of Georgia in June 2007 and is currently completing a specialized residency in critical care at the University of Virginia. Her current interests include medical intensive care, surgical intensive care, infectious diseases, and academia. Trisha's residency project will evaluate the use of anidulafungin in invasive fungal infections. Upon completion of her critical care residency, she plans to pursue a career as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at an academic medical center.
Tina Grof, Pharm.D.
Dr. Grof is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and West Virginia University School of Pharmacy where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in May of 2002 and Doctor of Pharmacy in May of 2006, respectively. She completed her pharmacy practice residency at Carolinas Medical Center located in Charlotte, North Carolina in June 2007 and is currently completing a specialized residency in critical care. Her current interests lie within medical, trauma, and neurosurgical intensive care and infectious diseases. Tina's residency project will evaluate and assess the appropriate titration dosing modality of dexmedetomidine in neurocritical care patients. Upon completion of her critical care residency, she plans to pursue a career as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in an academic medical teaching hospital.
