| Description: |
Assists pharmacist by performing office related functions and supervised dispensing functions. Essential functions include the following. Other functions may be assigned. Assists in the preparation of sterile IV fluids and filling prescription orders. Manufactures and compounds bulk products. Prepares patient profiles. Performs other support duties in the pharmacy. To be competitive applicants should have a high school diploma and some experience as a pharmacy assistant. College work with courses in chemistry or general science is preferred. Ability to work well with others in a team environment. Employment in this job is conditioned upon satisfactory completion of a drug test. |
