Pain Relief
Pain Relief actually begins during your surgery or procedure with your anesthesiologist giving you pain medicines as your case progresses. Pain relief is a priority of your registered nurse while in the recovery room. The goal of your nurse is to provide you with complete pain relief or to get you as comfortable as they can safely get you. Medications are generally provided through your intravenous line (IV line).
