Coming From the Operating Room
You will be transported from your operation or your special procedure accompanied by your anesthesiologist and one of your surgeons. You will arrive in the recovery room (also known as the PACU or Post Anesthesia Care Unit) on either your floor bed, if you are to be admitted, or on a recovery room stretcher. Your vital signs are monitored the entire time.
