Pediatric Subspecialty Fellowships
The Children's Hospital offers postdoctoral training in allergy, cardiology, critical care, developmental medicine, diabetes/endocrinology, medical genetics, neonatology, nephrology, and pulmonology. All subspecialty training programs are certified by ACGME.
The Department of Pediatrics is committed to training pediatricians for careers in academic medicine. Fellowship training in the department includes an opportunity for formal course work in biostatistics, epidemiology, research ethics, and clinical trials design and execution. Fellows may also participate in career development seminars directed at improving grant writing and oral presentations and handouts. All fellows receive a modest travel stipend from the department for attendance at an annual research meeting.
