Pediatrics/Child Neurology Residency Program
This five-year combined program merges the strengths of our pediatric department with our highly respected neurology staff. After your first two years of pediatric residency, you will spend one year learning about adult neurology. Your last two years in the program will focus on the specialized discipline of child neurology. For more information on this program, see the Child Neurology Residency Training program overview.
| "Dr. Rob Rust is the head of the pediatric neurology residency program. He is one of the most well known and accomplished child neurologists in the world. He is reason enough to pursue your neurology training at UVA. For me and my family, there is great security in knowing where we will be for the next 5 years. There are very few programs in the country that offer such security. I would be thrilled to speak with any pediatric or pediatric neurology candidate who may have questions about our program or the process of application."
