Private Practice-Harrisonburg
During your second year of residency, you will spend one month at Pediatrics Associates, a private practice located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Harrisonburg is the county seat of rural Rockingham County, located in the Shenandoah Valley about one hour away from Charlottesville. During this rotation you will
- become immersed in a community-based, private practice
- function independently with close supervision by senior pediatricians
- learn business and community aspects of primary care
- practice primary care away from a University setting
You will also be provided with an apartment during this rotation and will be on call one night out of the week.
