Gastroesophageal Reflux in Infants

Doctors Stephen M. Borowitz and James L. Sutphen in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the Children's Medical Center have a great deal of experience and expertise in evaluating and treating infants and children with gastroesophageal reflux.  They have conducted research in this area and have written about this subject in the medical literature. 

Drs. Borowitz and Sutphen see children in the Primary Care Center at the University of Virginia Children's Medical Center.  Routine office hours are 

  • Monday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday 12:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday 12:45 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
