FORENSIC PATHOLOGY

Drs. Marcella Fierro & Deborah Kay (Office of the State Medical Examiner & Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, VA)

In the second year of Anatomic Pathology, residents spend two to four weeks at the Office of the State Medical Examiner in Richmond, Virginia. Selected Forensic autopsies may be done in Charlottesville. Residents may also serve as medical examiners within the confines of Albemarle County.
