Haiti Relief Effort

UVA Health System's MERCI Program is partnering with Gleaning for the World to gather much needed supplies to help with the relief effort. The desired items are listed below.

Note: All items with expiration dates must be at least 4 months in date.

Powdered Milk
Bandages
Emergency Kits
Medical Kits
Water Treatment Purification Tablets
Blankets (Must be NEW)

Coolers
Rope
Tarps (Must be NEW)
Bottled Water
Nutritional Drinks
Antibiotic Skin Cream
Flashlights & Flashlight Batteries
Clothing (Must be NEW)
Pedia Lyte
Soap
Toiletries
Rain Coats
Generators (Must be in good, working condition)
Plastic bags to hold water

Please drop off your items in the main (East) cafeteria next week. We will be collecting on:

Wednesday, January 20 - 10am to 2pm

Thursday, January 21 - 10am to 2pm

The Charlottesville Fire Department is also collecting donations at its headquarters (203 Ridge Street) Monday, January 18 through Thursday, January 21 from 8am to 5pm.
