Billing Statements

Patient billing statements are generated from two sources. After each office visit, you will receive a statement for physician or audiology services from the UVA Health Services Foundation (HSF). If your physician asks other HSF clinicians to assist in providing for your care, these charges will appear on the same statement.  If you have questions about a bill from HSF, please call a patient representative at: (434) 980-6110 or (800) 868-6600.

You may also receive a statement from the UVA Medical Center's Patient Financial Services Department if you have X-rays, laboratory tests or other hospital-related procedures. For our department, these may include services rendered by Audiology, Speech Pathology, Vestibular and Balance Center, and facility charges from endoscopic examinations.  If you have questions about a bill from the Medical Center, please call Patient Financial Services Customer Service Department at 924-5377 or 1-800-523-4398 (or fax us at 434-982-0873).
