Pre-admission work-upPlease report to Admissions, first floor of Hospital East. The Pre-Admission work-up will be completed in one day. It will be a very busy day. Please eat breakfast and wear comfortable clothes. You will have a history and physical by an orthopaedic surgeon. A nurse will talk to you about your surgery and what to expect after your surgery. During the day you may want to go and visit the orthopaedic floor (6E). Joint Replacement patients are not admitted the day before their operation.
