Resident Lab Coats

Each resident will receive two (2) monogrammed laboratory coats during his four-year residency to be worn during patient-care activities. The departmental receptionist will arrange the purchase of the coats for each incoming resident, once she is given the desired coat size.

Optical Loupes

The department will reimburse the resident for $400 towards the purchase of one pair of optical loupes. The resident should order the loupes personally from the vendor in order to obtain the resident discount; he should then present the departmental receptionist with a copy of his canceled check and the original vendor's invoice to obtain reimbursement. Reimbursement is processed through Health Services Foundation; the Resident should receive the $400 within two weeks.
