Your Appointment
Appointments can be made between 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. weekdays by calling (434) 243-5432. If you find that you are having difficulty reaching one of our McCue Center receptionists, please call (434) 924-DOCS (3627) or Toll Free at 800-251-3627 and ask for appointments assistance.
Please Bring the Following with You:
- Your insurance cards and a primary care physician referral number, if required by your managed care insurance plan.
- Your co-payment, if required by your insurance or managed care plan.
- If you are referred to the McCue Orthopaedic Sports Medicine program by your primary care physician or by another specialist, please bring copies of any applicable X-rays, lab reports, medications and medical summaries, as well as the results of your most recent diagnostic tests. Also bring your physician's name, address and telephone number. This information will allow your surgeon to communicate his/her findings and coordinate your care with your referring physician.
- Wear clothing made of cotton or cotton and polyester fabrics so that the radiology technologist can obtain your ordered X-rays without you having to remove your garments. Do not wear jeans or pants made of denim. The weave of the denim may not allow the technologist to obtain clear X-rays through the material. Also, do not wear any undergarments with metal fasteners if you may need X-rays of the hip, the pelvis, or the leg. The metal fasteners respond like denim; they are a barrier to clear X-rays.
When you arrive for your appointment, please go to the registration desk on the third floor and check in.
