RE: Post-Interview Dinner

We want to let you know that after each day of interviewing, we like to get together with the potential candidates in a less stressful atmosphere.

We would like to invite you to have a very casual dinner with us. (No faculty members are allowed to come.) This is usually at one of the resident's houses the night after your interviews. This gives you a chance to really get to know us (and us to really get to know you). So please make plans to stay that evening for dinner. The only requirements are:

1. You can't wear those dark suits that you have grown so fond of wearing.

2. You have to be yourself.

We would like you to ask all of those questions that you really wanted to ask during your interviews - but just could not bring yourself to utter. Spouses, significant others, children, distant cousins, and friendly neighbors are welcome to come with you. Dress casually!

Signed,

The RESIDENTS

P.S.: It is not required that you attend the post-interview dinner. Attendance will not influence your ranking in our Ophthalmology Residency Program.
