Weeknight call is taken by a three resident night float team, consisting of a PGY-4, a PGY-1, and either a PGY 3 or 2.  This team works Sunday night through Thursday night, 5 PM until 7 AM, and has full responsibility for the management of all inpatient services.  On the weekends (Friday night through Sunday night), the call team consists of three residents, made up of those residents NOT on the night team or off service.  Our program is fully committed to the duty hours guidelines of the ACGME (www.acgme.org), and all rotations and call are designed to be in complete compliance.  Attending physician in house coverage at all times is a given; backup coverage for gynecologic oncology and maternal-fetal medicine is also scheduled.
