EXPERIENCE
Dr. Pastore joined the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department as an Assistant Professor of Research in early 2003. Her postdoctoral fellowship (at UNC) was funded by the National Cancer Institute and was focused on vaginal infections in both postmenopausal and pregnant women.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Dr. Pastore’s research experience spans clinical, environmental, occupational and infectious disease epidemiology in women. Her current projects are (1) genetic risk factors for early menopause and infertility-related ovarian dysfunction, (2) postpartum sexuality informational needs, and (3) complementary-alternative medicine applications in OB/Gyn.
