"A model for the next generation" is what Self Magazine calls the Division of Midlife Health Center. Combining an array of services in one convenient location, Midlife Health focuses specifically on the wellness of women age 40 and over. Our interdisciplinary staff specializes in all facets of midlife health, from assessing the individualized benefits and risks of hormone replacement therapy to preventive cardiology, gynecologic care, cancer screening, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, treatment for depression, female sexuality, and more. Clinical research trials are conducted at Midlife Health (call 434-243-4722) in an effort to improve medical treatments for women. We have an on-site reference library with a great range of books, periodicals, videos and newsletters. . |
