About Us

NIMH Outreach Partner Virginia is a non-profit project of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatric Medicine, and bodytalk. We are one of 51 Outreach Partners, part of the Constituency Outreach and Education Program (COEP) of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) to help spread the science-based and research message of mental health.

Our target audiences are the general public, mental health consumers, families, mental health and medical practioners.

NIMH Outreach Partner Virginia is supported by a small seed grant from the NIMH, and depends on donations, grants and gifts to further its programs and projects. If you
