U.VA. CHILDREN'S MEDICAL CENTER CHIEF TO ANNOUNCE NEXT GOALS FOR CENTERDr. Robert L. Chevalier, professor of pediatrics and chairman of the University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics, will present strategic plans for the U.Va. Children's Medical Center (CMC). He will speak on Thursday, September 14, at 6 p.m. in the atrium of the U.Va. Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center.Chevalier will discuss the CMC's current success record, which includes $5 million in research funding from the National Institutes of Health, as well as goals to renovate the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and expand the Virginia Children's Heart Center.
