Welcome to Your First Day at UVA
This page is designed for people who have been hired by the Medical Center, but have not attended their first day of work/New Employee Orientation. Below you will find information to help you on your first day.
| Your Schedule | This schedule will take you through your first day only. Any further scheduling will be given to you when you arrive at orientation. |
| Parking | Human Recourses (982-4122) will supply you with a permit for the University Hall (U-Hall) parking lot for your first day of work. To obtain your permanent parking pass, visit the Parking and Transportation office (MAP building # 9 ) ( web site ) (434) 924-7231. |
| Bus Routes | The University provides a free shuttle service to take you from the U-Hall parking lot to the hospital. Those parking in U-Hall will use the Green Route buses. View all bus routes. |
| Car Pooling | With your employee password, sign up for pooling or search for ride share partners. (Passwords are given on the morning of orientation) |
